Winter Jam 2016

Last Friday, I went with my siblings and my two friends from church, Audrey and Gracie, to Columbia, SC for Winter Jam. Winter Jam is a huge Christian concert that tours the States over the winter. It features 10 Christian artists and bands, and you only have to pay $10 at the door to get in. There are no advance tickets, so seating is on a first come, first served basis.

The concert started at 6:45 and we got there at 2:30. So that meant sitting/standing around about 15 ft from the door for 3 1/2 hours! My mom, because she wasn’t going in for the concert, walked to Wendy’s and Subway and got us sandwiches and stuff for supper. I got my favorite Wendy’s meal, a Baconator fry and Frosty!! I unexpectedly saw my friend Kylie a couple times. She came with a group from her church. That was kinda cool because there was over 5,000 people there! Here is a picture I took after I was finished eating, but wasn’t ready to stand up yet 🙂 It’s not the best selfie I’ve taken 😛 We ate sitting down on the pavement, cross legged. IMG_1560

They opened the doors and we went in at 6pm. We immediately went into the auditorium and found seats. Here are a couple pictures I took before the concert started. Us four girls and then me with our view in the background.

Sorry, my selfie camera has poor quality, but I forgot my camera 🙁 so I had no choice.

Okay, that is it for this week! Keep your eyes out for more coming in the next weeks 🙂
